N.A.D.R.A. is the World's Largest International Organization of Dog Trainers. There are thousands of members throughout the USA and Canada. Together, we produce the
Classic K-9 Show. Filled with numerous dog sport events, the show is a medium for you to show off your dog's talent and training.

At each event, the Classic K-9 Team selected for that show will compete in numerous dog sport competitions while entertaining audiences of major cities across North America. Dog sports like Flyball, Agility, Obedience, Frisbee, and Canine High Jumping are only a few of the events that we use to create the Classic K-9 Show. Any level of talent or training is welcome to join us.

We assign records and prizes throughout each year for predetermined levels of achievement. We govern good sportsmanship through a set of rules and regulations and the cooperation of thousands of great dog trainers from all over the USA and Canada.

N.A.S.C.A.R. is the World's first organization consisting of the Top Agility Dogs and Trainers from across America. Courses consist of an in-line, high speed oval Agility race course with a single start/finish line. Competitions are judged on speed and accuracy only during this fun, fast, and easy to learn canine racing format.

There are no breed restrictions in N.A.D.R.A. or N.A.S.C.A.R.
Purebred and mixed breed dogs compete equally.

Grand Prix Racing:
Individual competition, timed event. Dogs complete obstacle courses from start to finish.

High Jumping:
Individual competition. Bars are added as dogs compete for the highest jump. (current record is 64 inches!)

Relay Racing:
Team competition. Two lanes of obstacles. Team against team relay races. Best out of 3 races.

Toy Scramble:
Individual competition. Dogs compete to retrieve the most toys in 30 seconds.

Barrel Racing:
Individual competition. Timed event. Dogs compete for fastest time to complete a "clover leaf" pattern around three barrels.

Frisbee Competition:
Dogs perform an amazing display of Canine/Human acrobatics.

Musical Mats:
Musical Chairs for dogs. Handlers advance around the mats and down their dogs when the music stops.

Gamblers:
Individual competition. Dogs complete randomly placed obstacles (each worth varying points) to acquire the highest total points in 30 seconds.

Freestyle Obedience:
Dogs perform Canine/Human dance routines to music. (similar to Canine Freestyle Dance)

Is my dog good enough for the show?

The minimum requirement for you to participate is that your dog has completed some form of obedience training, shows no sign of aggression toward people or other dogs, and will work 'off leash' in a crowded and noisy environment. Remember, any level of training is welcome to join us.

Can I try a show before I join?

Members of N.A.D.R.A. have first right to sign up for shows over non-members. If you are not a member of N.A.D.R.A., you may attend a show to see what it is like, as long as there is room on the team after member reservation is complete. Note that any records that you may accumulate as a non-member will be deleted after the show unless you join the Association.

How can I afford to travel all over?

N.A.D.R.A. will reimburse your travel expenses and supply hotel rooms where needed when you sign up for a Classic K-9 show, regardless of your geographical location. This benefit applies to members only.

How much does it cost to join?

A one time registration fee of $30 in US funds is due with your application. Your membership to N.A.D.R.A. is good for life and includes the registration of all your dogs.

Note: You must be a member of NADRA to participate on the Speed Dog Team. Your N.A.D.R.A. membership automatically includes membership in N.A.S.C.A.R. Speed Dogs are selected for each event by invitation only.
